Because of its softness, there is almost no need to iron it, although doing so will emphasise its silky shine. Sateen is also a very breathable fabric. Because of its silky surface, it feels a little bit cool to the touch. Most people use it during warm summer nights, but connoisseurs who get to know the fabric, know that it is perfect for year-round use.
Maintenance:
You can wash the pillowcase at 40 °C. Always wash with the zipper closed. You can tumble dry it on medium, but line drying it will be more gentle to fibers and you will be able to use it longer. Do not use bleach or dry clean. To maintain the quality of the fabric, avoid using softeners.
